Nestled to the Hill overlooking the secluded Kaioruru beach this family home, designed to meet the Homestar 8* accreditation, encapsulates healthy living with natural engagement. Two simple, acutely pivoting forms connected by glazed walkway embrace the expansive and dynamic setting while cradling its occupants in a warm, adaptable enclosure all year round. Alongside the main dwelling we were engaged to design an accompanying single bedroom, self contained unit tucked privately into the slope below.
