My design work is considered contemporary with a strong focus on clear planning, simple forms and minimalist detailing. My interest in the New Zealand vernacular architecture is evident through the formal composition of my work which engages with the site and its natural surroundings.

Having grown up all over New Zealand I have developed a strong passion for this country and the natural environment that we are lucky enough to live in. It is this passion that has driven my understanding and knowledge of environmentally sustainable design and more recently Passive House design. Throughout the design process I am constantly looking to optimise the performance of the home to improve the quality of life for my clients and their families.
