eHaus Pacific

Our Wellington based clients brief was for a high performance home to which they could transfer their family and reap all the benefits of their rural section. In partnership with eHaus, what ensued was a contemporary design that pays homage to the surrounding shearing quarters and corrugate sheds but celebrates its modern high performance living environment. Rigorous design, modelling and testing culminated with this design being certified to the eHaus Pacific standard, ensuring a consistent internal 20C temperature using no more than 50kWh p/m2 of power a year. For comparison, a standard NZ Code home would require 120kWh p/m2 to maintain a similar environment.
